It was an open interview day, and I was recruiting for a nursing position. Sat down with an applicant who did not have any nursing degree or education to support why she was qualified for the job, so she was asked about her qualifications and if she had the necessary credentials for the position. She said, “No, but I watch ER all the time and I know I can do the job”.
Or – how about the one where the applicant is texting on his phone while I’m asking him questions, not even bothering to look at me.
